Caffeine Definition
What Is Caffeine?

Stimulant which helps increase the ability of the body to burn fat by helping liberate fatty acids from bodyfat stores. Caffeine is a bitter white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that acts as a central nervous system stimulant, a mental stimulant and a mild diuretic. The most commonly used caffeine-containing plants are coffee, tea, and to a lesser extent cocoa. Other, less commonly used, sources of caffeine include the yerba mate and guarana plants, which are sometimes used in the preparation of teas and energy drinks. Caffeine is the world's most widely consumed stimulent. Beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and energy drinks enjoy great popularity. Many feel that the ingestion of caffeine can enhance exercise and sports performance, and that is also speeds metabolism, and breaks down fat.
